Pros
  • Lots of Slots
  • Welcome Bonus
  • Regular Bonuses
  • Loyalty Program
  • Mobile-Support
Cons
  • Some Minor Site Issues
  • Poor Category Search Options

I wasn’t too impressed with MaxiPlay at first glance. It has an old-school and somewhat basic style—a far cry from the likes of Foxy Games and Gala Casino. But there’s much more to an online casino than simple aesthetics and layouts.

That’s where this MaxiPlay review comes in. Check it out to learn more.

Welcome Bonuses

The MaxiPlay welcome bonus is perfect for small-stake players and serves as the ideal introduction to this online casino. It’s a 100% matched deposit offer and there is a cap of £50. You will also receive 30 free spins.

The following terms apply to this bonus:

  • A wagering requirement of 50x applies to the bonus credits
  • Bonus credits are valid for 30 days while the free spins last for 7 days
  • The maximum bonus conversion is 3x for the bonus credits and £20 for the free spins
  • Skrill deposits do not qualify for the welcome bonus.

As an example, if you deposit £50, you will be given £50 in bonus credits and 30 free spins. You must wager £2,500 before your bonus funds can be withdrawn and the most you can win is £150. So, if you make it through the wagering requirement with £300 intact, you will lose half of that amount and can withdraw the rest.

Loyalty Offers

The MaxiPlay promotions page promises something for everyone, and it delivers on that promise…to an extent.

There are daily, weekly, and monthly bonuses offering free spins, bonus credits, and more. For instance, Monday Offers give you the perfect way to start the week; Wednesday Groves adds some spice to the mid-week lull, and everything is finished off with a Friday Bonus. There is also a Weekend Bliss during the weekend. All of these bonuses incentivise you to make a deposit and ensure you stick around.

For even more rewards, check out the Rewards Programme. It reminds me a lot of the trophy-based loyalty program on Showreel Bingo and other Jumpman Gaming websites. You will be asked to complete challenges in exchange for points, and the more of these that you collect, the faster you will advance.

Keep advancing through the levels to earn more perks and prizes.

Casino Games and Slots

My first introduction to MaxiPlay wasn’t the best. I didn’t love the theme, and it looked a little dated to me. But the main issue was that the sidebar links were all in German.

There is a list of countries at the bottom of the homepage and these include a number of language and location options. I assumed that I had accidentally set the site to German, but that wasn’t the case, and no matter how many times I switched to English and refreshed, the sidebar remained German.

It didn’t help that many of the thumbnails weren’t loading and the site was painfully slow in places.

Once I actually sat down to play the games, I had a good time. There are hundreds of titles to explore and they cover some of the industry’s best-loved developers and titles, with a selection of video slots, video poker games, virtual scratch cards, table games, and more.

The category options aren’t great either. There are hundreds upon hundreds of slot machines, and yet there’s nothing to help you search through them. All it takes is a few theme filter options or even some categories that let you search by feature. It would make it easier for me to find the slots that I enjoy playing the most, and it would also break up the endless list of thumbnails.

But, alas, there is no such option.

Deposits and Withdrawals

MaxiPlay accepts all of the following payment options:

  • Visa
  • MasterCard
  • Pay Via Phone
  • PayPal
  • Paysafecard
  • ecoPayz
  • MuchBetter

Payments are processed quickly, but withdrawal speed varies based on your chosen method.

Verdict: MaxiPlay Review

My introduction to MaxiPlay wasn’t the best. The links were in a different language, the category options were limited, and many of the thumbnails didn’t appear. I even left the site for a few hours to see if it was just a temporary thing, but that wasn’t the case.

It’s just one of those frustrating little things that detract from the overall experience, and while it seems very minor, we’re talking about a competitive industry with lots of similar sites and software.

When everyone is doing the same thing, it’s the small things that make all the difference, and that’s why MaxiPlay gets a slightly lower score from me.
