Showreel Bingo is a UK-licensed, Jumpman Gaming casino with a theme reminiscent of an old-school cinema, including a logo that looks like a ticket stub. It includes many of the hallmarks of Jumpman Gaming casinos, including top games and bonuses, but it also includes many common pitfalls, as noted in the following Showreel Bingo review.

Welcome Bonuses

Up to 500 free spins are on offer for all new players. This offer comes via the Mega Wheel promotion, and the spins are fixed to the Bonanza slot, a Big Time Gaming classic. It’s a prize wheel promotion, and unlike those annoying promotion wheels that appear on so many e-commerce websites, it’s legit and you won’t hit the big prize every time.

The wagering requirement for this bonus is 65x and applies to all free spin winnings. There is also a minimum deposit of £10 and a stipulation that you can’t convert more than your lifetime deposits.

Check the terms and conditions before you sign up and collect.

Loyalty Offers

Showreel Bingo does loyalty promotions better than most. There is a loyalty scheme where you can complete challenges to win trophies and collect rewards. There are also giveaways, events, and more.To give you an idea, here are a few of the bonuses available at the time of writing this Showreel Bingo review. Just bear in mind that these are not evergreen and so you’ll probably see something different when you log in.

  •  Apple Giveaway: A giveaway that spans the entire month and offers up to £3,000 worth of prizes, including a MacBook, Apple Watch, and AirPods.
  • Cash Drops: Big prizes that trigger at random on select slots.
  • Scratch for Cash: Prizes are up for grabs via the site’s scratch cards. Win standard scratch card rewards, along with additional jackpots.
  • Winner Winner Chicken Dinner: A long-running promotion that gives the biggest single spin winner of the week a £50 voucher.
  •  Free Spins: There is always some kind of free spin promotion available at Showreel Bingo.

Bingo Game and Slots

Showreel Bingo is not just a bingo site, but bingo is definitely a main area of focus. There are multiple different variations, from 30-ball to 90-ball, and lots of big prizes. You can play from just a few pence per ticket and if you keep your eyes peeled, you’ll find some big events every now and then.

It’s also big on slots, with over 1,000 games from top brands like NetEnt, Big Time Gaming, and Blueprint. You’ll find plenty of scratch cards, table games, and live casino games as well.

Customer Support

As always, I contacted Showreel Bingo before writing this review. I asked them a simple question and intended to note how long it took them to respond. In the end, they chose not to respond at all, so that particular cell of my Excel sheet still remains blank some 3 weeks later.

It’s an issue I’ve had with a surprising number of online casinos. It seems to have more to do with the fact that I wasn’t a member than the fact they are incompetent, but it’s still a concern and it’s an area that needs to be approved.

Incidentally, while this problem is far more common on Jumpman Gaming sites, there are a few that have actually responded to me. The best of these was Daily Record Bingo, which is worth checking out if you like what these sites have to offer and value good customer support.

Deposits and Withdrawals

Showreel Bingo accepts a few different payment methods:

  •  Visa Debit
  •  MasterCard Debit
  •  Maestro
  •  Paysafecard
  •  Pay By Mobile
  •  PayPal

Pay By Mobile is the only one of these that charges, and you’ll pay £2.50 per deposit. It’s a form of credit gambling, and it’s expensive, so I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s also one of two methods (the other being Paysafecard) that you can’t use for withdrawals.

Speaking of withdrawals, every time you initiate one you’ll be charged £2.50. Withdrawal fees are incredibly rare in this day and age, and if not for Jumpman Gaming, which charges them on all of its casinos, they’d be practically non-existent.

I’m not sure why these fees are charged, but it makes life difficult for small-stake players. It means that if you withdraw £10, you’ll only get £7.50. It also means that if you deposit £10 with Pay By Mobile, you’ll need to withdraw £15 just to get your money back, as you’ll lose £2.50 each way.

Verdict:Showreel Bingo Review

Showreel Bingo is a very simple but well-made site that offers a wide selection of casino games, lots of loyalty offers, and a big welcome bonus.

Most of the downsides come from the banking options, including an unjustifiable withdrawal fee and slow withdrawals. It doesn’t help that their customer support is also slow and often non-responsive.

I would almost be happy to pay a withdrawal fee if it meant the withdrawals were rapid and the customer support team was just as efficient. But that’s not the case.

Still, it’s not a bad site and there’s a lot to like here.
