I have reserved a lot of praise for In Touch Games over the last couple of years. I love what this brand is doing as it goes against the usual process behind launching and operating an online casino. Pocket Win is the latest In Touch Games casino to appear on my radar and it has all of the same hallmarks of the brand’s other sites, including Bonus Boss and Jammy Monkey.

But as you would expect, it also suffers from many of the same flaws and issues. The question is, are they enough to hinder the overall experience, or is Pocket Win still a site that you should be joining?

Welcome Bonuses

The welcome bonus on Pocket Win is very generous.

In the first instance, you can collect £10 in free bonus credits when you join the site. After this, you will be given a 200 % boost on your first deposit, with the maximum set at £100 and the minimum at £5.

For instance, if you deposit £5, you’ll be given a bonus of £10 for a total of £15. If you deposit £50, you’ll get the maximum of £100 and can play with £150. Any deposit amount that exceeds this maximum will always get the £100, even though it stops being a 200% boost beyond a £50 deposit.

You have 30 days to claim the bonus after signing up and there is a 40x wagering requirement. You can withdraw real money funds while the welcome bonus is active but doing so will invalidate the bonus.

Loyalty Offers

Pocket Win has some great giveaways from time to time. There is one active at the time of writing that has 30,000 free spins and £5,000 in the prize pool, and all players who deposit at least £30 are given a chance to win.

It won’t be live by the time you read this review, but another will be along soon.

Free spin promotions also make a regular appearance, and the terms are usually very favourable on Pocket Win. You don’t need to worry about staggeringly high wagering requirements or ridiculous deposit requirements.

Still, you should check the terms and conditions before you join, and don’t assume they are in your favour.

Bingo Games and Slots

Pocket Win isn’t the only online casino to offer both welcome bonuses and loyalty promotions, and that’s definitely not something that In Touch Games invented. So, if you’ve made it this far and have never been introduced to this brand before, you might be wondering what makes them so different.

It all comes down to the games.

Casino games are created by third-party developers like Microgaming and Playtech. These guys create a catalogue of games that is then contracted by an aggregator, also known as a white-label provider. A company director comes along, decides to start a casino, and signs a deal with the white-label provider.

After a quick deal and a few equally quick implementations, a casino is created featuring a number of those games.

This happens across the industry, and it’s why many online casinos look the same. In many ways, they are the same.

What makes In Touch Games different is that they don’t sign those deals. They don’t work with third-party developers that you know, love, and may have tired of seeing. Instead, they create all of their own games, and this applies to every single one of their casinos.

As a result, all of the games that you see on Pocket Win are only on Pocket Win. If this is your first time visiting the site, you will have an entirely new portfolio of slots to explore.

Of course, there are downsides to this process. One small casino studio can’t compete with the resources of a hundred developers, so the games aren’t as plentiful and you won’t find any carrying expensive TV or film licenses either. It also means that they don’t have Megaways and there is no live casino to speak of.

It’s not all bad news though. Some In Touch casinos have table games and bingo games, and Pocket Win is one of those casinos. The slots also have a progressive jackpot attached, and you can play for this jackpot whether you’re spinning Reels of Rome, Money Ladder, or one of the dozens of other games.

It’s not a small jackpot either. At the time of writing, it’s offering over £190,000, all of which can be claimed by any player and on any spin.

The Pocket Win games room is also updated on a regular basis (with original games) and every single game is compatible with both iOS and Android devices.

Verdict: Pocket Win Review

Pocket Win is another excellent casino from an innovative brand. It has its issues, including the limited gaming selection, the lack of a live casino, and the omission of fan-favourite slots and features. But they are all part of its charm in my opinion.

As someone who plays online casinos every day and has been reviewing them for over 10 years, I get sick of seeing the same old sites and games. If I see another Starburst free spins promotion I’m not liable for my actions. It’s fantastic, therefore, when someone comes along, rejects all those games, and tries to do things their own way.

You might not love Pocket Win as much as a site like PokerStars Casino, but you have to respect what these guys are doing.
