Parimatch is operated by BV Gaming Limited. That BV stands for “Bet Victor”, a brand that I have previously praised and one that I personally use all of the time. So, that answers the first question of why Parimatch looks so much like BetVictor.

But how does it compare when it comes to offers, betting markets, and customer support? 

Welcome Bonuses

Parimatch offers £30 in freebies for new customers who deposit and bet at least £5.

It’s a great bonus, but there are some important terms to consider and the promotion headline doesn’t tell the whole story.

First, it only applies to new players making their first deposit using a debit card. Parimatch accepts other methods (more on that below), but if you want the bonus, you need to stick with a debit card.

Secondly, you must bet at least £5 on odds of Evens (2.00) or greater to qualify. The deposit alone is not sufficient, and you’ll also need to be careful when placing bets as it only counts your first wager.

So, if you deposit £10, place two multipliers for £1 each, and then drop £8 on a single bet, you’ll miss out. In this case, flip those bets and place the biggest one first. 

You have 7 days to place your qualifying wager and when it settles, you’ll get the bonus. It is released in three parts:

• A £10 free bet for use on single markets only (odds of 2.00 or greater)
• A £10 free bet for use on accumulators only (at least 5 in a selection)

These might sound a little restrictive, especially if you’re a small-stakes player. But it’s worth noting that you can break the bets down if you want. So, rather than betting £10 on a single wager, you can place two bets of £5 or four bets of £2.50.

Your wager will be excluded from the return and bets can’t be used on the virtual sports section. A cash out will also void the bet, so bide your time and wait for it to settle.

You will also get a £10 slots bonus that comes with a 35x wagering requirement.

The entire bonus has a £250 win cap, so keep that in mind if you’re spending those gaming credits on jackpot slots and placing bets on massive accumulators.

This isn’t the only welcome bonus available at Parimatch. At the time of writing, there are a number of bet refund offers as well as first bet boosts. However, you can only take one of these, so make sure you check beforehand and pay attention to the terms and conditions.

Loyalty Offers

There aren’t a great deal of loyalty offers available for Parimatch bettors, but they do appear from time to appear. Also, as with BetVictor, you’ll find occasional events and promotions that encourage you to participate by offering free bets and giveaways.

Withdrawals are fast and you won’t be left waiting around too long. Of course, there may be occasional verification checks from time to time, but these are rare and they are usually processed quickly. Just make sure you are 100% verified before you deposit and bet as that’ll ensure you avoid any issues further down the line.

Software and Betting Options

I am a big fan of the Bet Victor software, so I was naturally drawn to what Parimatch has to offer. For me, it’s up there with Unibet and bet365 as being one of the best layouts. It’s easy to find what you’re looking for and works really well on desktop, even with resized windows.

The mobile app is solid too, though most of this review was conducted using the desktop site.

There is a wide selection of betting markets and these cover dozens of sports. Parimatch seems to have a strong connection to UFC and boxing, so there are heaps of markets for these, but you’ll also find the usual abundance for football and rugby.

There is a Bet Builder to create your own in-game multiples and live betting is also available. As with Bet Victor, you can’t always cash out your bets, which is frustrating. The option is there, but not for all sports/events or markets.

Deposits and Withdrawals

Parimatch has fast fee-free withdrawals. It accepts debit cards and PayPal. The help section of the site also lists “Credit Cards” as an option, but this doesn’t apply to UK players as credit card gambling has been illegal here since April 2020.

Verdict: Parimatch Review

Parimatch is an established brand making a move into the UK market. It has done everything right. Not only has it associated itself with sporting giants (Newcastle United) and lesser-known minnows (Chelsea…ahem) but it has also chosen a respected partner that operates very user-friendly software.

It’s hard not to like Parimatch and it’s also hard to criticise the site.

Sure, I would have liked to see more loyalty offers and it would have been great if PayPal deposits were accepted for its main welcome bonus. But I’m nit-picking, and this is an excellent site on the whole.
