The Daily Star is a newspaper that straddles the line between tabloid and trolling. It’s the newspaper that has given us classic headlines such as, “Seagulls Held us Hostage for 6 Days” and “Britain’s Fattest Woman Ate Fridge”. But its talents are not limited to bizarre stories and hilarious headlines, it has also created its own bingo site.

Kind of.

Star Wins is actually part of the Jumpman Gaming network, but it has the Daily Star branding and has been promoted by the tabloid in the past. 

As this is a Jumpman Casino, the “theme” doesn’t extend beyond the name, logo, and colour scheme, and for once, that’s a good thing.

The idea is that you can claim up to £2,000 with a deposit of £10 or more. Just spin the Multiplier Wheel and reveal a multiplier of up to 10x, potentially turning a £10 deposit into a £100 bonus.

The offer applies to your first three deposits, giving you as much as £6,000.

Sounds great, right?

Not quite. Check out the following term:

“The maximum amount (for accounts that have made a deposit) which can be converted to your Real Money (withdrawable) balance as a result of fulfilling the bonus wagering requirement, is the value of your lifetime deposits on this website, up to a maximum of £250.”

If you deposit £10, the maximum bonus credits you will receive is £10. This is true even if you strike it lucky and get the 10x maximum bonus.

In this way, it’s basically a new twist on a 100% offer. The only benefit to structuring the bonus in this way is that you’ll have more money to clear the wagering requirements. And as those requirements are fixed at 65x, you’ll need all the help you can get.

It’s not a bad bonus, but it’s not as great as it first appears.  

Other Bonuses

There are lots of loyalty offers on Star Wins, but the trophy scheme is the most notable. This is Jumpman Gaming’s answer to traditional loyalty programs, and in many ways, it’s better.

Star Wins is just another Jumpman Gaming casino. It has all of the same pros and cons as the brand’s other sites, but it’s very basic and there’s no reason why you would join Star Wins ahead of Rocket Bingo, Immortal Wins, or countless other Jumpman sites.

It’s not bad. Not at all. We’re still talking about a site with a good welcome bonus, big loyalty scheme, and a huge variety of games. But we’re also talking about a site with a withdrawal fee, a long pending withdrawal time, and a very basic theme.

It’s good, and it might be worth your time and money, but there are better options out there.
