A “shack full of slot machines”. That’s what the Slot Shack homepage promises. The backdrop depicts a beach where the sand is made of gold coins and the “shack” looks like the cross between a chicken coop and a slot machine.
It probably sounds better than it looks. Not because that’s a great description, but because it’s not the best illustration. It’s a little too basic, too colourful, and not very pleasant to look at. Still, it’s not the worst I have seen and there’s a lot more going on here once you dig through the gold vomit seemingly gushing forth from the door of the coop.
Slot Shack invites all new players to spin the Mega Reel and win up to 500 free spins on the Starburst slot machine. There are other prizes on the reel as well, including bundles of free spins on Fluffy Favourites.
There’s also an Amazon gift certificate, and considering it’s a no-nonsense £10 voucher, it’s probably one of the best prizes on the reels.
If you pick up any of the free spins, keep the following terms in mind:
- A 65x wagering requirement applies to all slot winnings
- The total bonus winnings are equal to your lifetime deposits (max £250)
Check the bonus terms and conditions for more information. This is also where you will find more details on the wagering contributions.
Slot Shack keeps all of its active players happy with regular loyalty promotions, including free spins, giveaways, reload offers, tournaments, and cash drops.
The giveaways are some of my favourite promotions here. They run on a monthly basis and task you with playing specific games to earn tickets. These tickets give you entry to the draw, and the more times you meet that requirement, the more tickets you will earn.
At the time of writing, there is £3,000 worth of luxury goods on offer. During last month’s promotion, the giveaway handed out £3,000 in electronics.
Check the promotions section to see details of the latest giveaway.
Slot Shack also has a trophy-based loyalty program. This program gives you a series of challenges to complete. Every time you tick one off the list, you’ll earn a trophy, and if you earn enough of them, you’ll advance a level and earn a shot at free spins.
By the time you collect 200 trophies, you will have earned a chance to win up to 20,000 free spins. You’ll also get an Amazon voucher.
Casino Games and Bingo Rooms
The loyalty bonuses are the thing I like most about Slot Shack and Jumpman Gaming casinos in general. The network’s gaming section is a close second though, as it encompasses a wide selection of games, including slots, table games, live casino games, and bingo rooms.
The slots and table games come from several top developers, including Microgaming, NetEnt, Red Tiger Gaming, Blueprint Gaming, SG Interactive, and more. All of the UK’s favourites are available here and there are plenty of jackpots to aim for.
On the bingo side of things, Slot Shack connects players to the Jumpman Gaming network and its many top rooms and dedicated jackpots. You can play for 5 and 6-figure jackpots every time you sit down, and if you wait for peak play or join during major holidays, the prizes get even bigger.
Slot Shack has live chat and email support, and these are good if you are actually a member. If you’re not logged in or you don’t have an account, there’s no point even trying.
Also, if you try email support during busy times, you could be waiting 3 or more days to get a response.
I have personally tried to contact Jumpman Gaming casinos on dozens of occasions in the past. I always send emails before I start my reviews and I always give them a few days to respond. Whenever I do that with Jumpman Gaming, I usually get ignored.
Deposits and Withdrawals
As with all Jumpman Gaming casinos, the biggest issues with Slot Shack stem from its banking options.
The pending withdrawal period is about 3 days, and that’s true even if you use PayPal, which is instant on sites like BetVictor and painfully slow on Slot Shack.
The second issue is the withdrawal fee of £2.50. It’s a fixed fee and it’s charged to all players. The minimum withdrawal amount is just £2.50, so if you’re withdrawing the least amount allowed, you could lose 25% of your cash.
It’s obviously less of an issue for high rollers, but I’m fairly confident that most of Slot Shack’s customers are casual gamers staking small amounts, so they will be pretty frustrated by this rule.
Verdict: Slot Shack Review
I am not a big fan of the aesthetic of Slot Shack, but once you get beyond that, it’s a solid Jumpman Gaming casino that comes with great games, a big welcome bonus, and lots of loyalty offers.
It’s hard not to appreciate what this operator has to offer, although the withdrawal fee and slow withdrawals are very frustrating.
You must be a new player aged 18 or older. You must also make a deposit of at least £10. Make sure you check the terms and conditions before you deposit.
It’s a mobile payment option that adds funds to your mobile phone contract. It’s technically a form of credit gambling, so I can’t recommend it. What’s more, there is a deposit charge, withdrawals are not available, and you’re limited to small deposits.
Yes, it is one of several popular payment options available here, with others including Visa and MasterCard.
It depends on the method used, but as the pending period can take several days, you probably won’t get your funds as quickly as you’d like.
