Genting Casino

Just like Gala Casino, Mecca Bingo, and Grosvenor Casino before it, Genting Casino has launched its very own online casino. It uses the brand’s logo, colour scheme, name, and reputation to offer players a wide selection of bonuses and games. It also has the brand’s backing, so the resources are there to create something that can stand head and shoulders above the competition.

But does it manage to do that? Is Genting Casino a worthy casino?

Welcome Bonuses

Genting Casino will match your first deposit (£10 or more) up to a maximum of £50. The bonus comes with a wagering requirement of 10x and you have 30 days to meet these terms.

One of the frustrating things about this bonus, and the Genting Casino site in general, is that it switches between GBP and EUR. It’s confusing, and you would expect more from such a major brand, but it’s ultimately a minor issue.

This bonus is subject to change, so be sure to check before you sign up. You should also double-check the terms and conditions as there may be some changes with regards to the wagering requirement and deposit methods.

Loyalty Offers

Genting Casino promises daily bonus prizes, including free spins and bonus credits. There is also an Executives Club, which serves as the casino’s loyalty program. It is structured much like a loyalty program in a real casino. There are multiple tiers and many rewards to collect along the way.

You can also join slot tournaments. These are not quite as diverse, impressive, or even as frequent as the ones found on Duelz Casino and other top slot sites, but they do have some eye-opening prizes.

To qualify, you must buy tournament entries and then use them in the qualifying games. There are also freeroll slot tournaments that are completely free to join and spin. The prizes are much smaller, as you’d expect, but it’s all relative and there are still some big payouts on the table.

Casino Games

I am not a fan of the layout on Genting Casino. It doesn’t look great on desktop and it looks even worse if you try to resize the windows, as I often do. I expected more from a site that’s backed by so many resources. And even if we pin the responsibility on Skill On Net (the operator), they should also be doing better.

We’re talking about the same guys who run the excellent PlayOJO after all.

The gaming selection isn’t the best, but the biggest issue is the disorder that can make it hard to find what you’re looking for. There’s also something innately off-putting about playing on a poorly organised site. Maybe it’s just me, but if I don’t like the layout or style, I’m much more likely to call it quits early and head somewhere else.

Genting Casino has many classic slots and new slots. It also hosts games from a variety of top developers, as well as features like progressive jackpot slots and Megaways slots. There are RNG table games and if you prefer the real thing, you can try your hand at live casino games.

Deposits and Withdrawals

Genting Casino doesn’t seem to accept PayPal, which is ridiculous in this day and age. Especially for me, as I refuse to use anything else. You can use Neteller and Skrill, but the last time I used Skrill I immediately encountered an issue, sent them an email, and it took them 4 weeks to respond.

To make matters worse, that response was a request for further information, and it took another 2 weeks to get an actual answer.

Visa and MasterCard are available as well. There are no fees and payments seem to be quite quick, but the lack of PayPal would be a dealbreaker for me.

Verdict: Genting Casino Review

I expected a lot more from Genting Casino. I thought it would be on par with Grosvenor Casino and Mecca Bingo, sites that do their real-life counterparts a service by creating something slick, stylish, and action-packed.

But that wasn’t the case. It feels more thrown together and I didn’t have a great experience here. There are some good takeaways, including the welcome bonus and the slot tournaments, and I would still play here. But it needs some work in my opinion and is a long way short of PlayOJO, another Skill On Net casino.
