Posh Bingo Review

Posh Bingo is owned and operated by Grand Battery Holdings Limited, a brand that’s licensed in the UK by the Gambling Commission of Great Britain. It’s a licensed bingo site with a selection of popular bingo games and a number of big prizes.

In the following Posh Bingo review, I’ll take a deeper dive into the pros and cons of this site, showing you where it excels and where it’s lacking.

Welcome Bonuses

One of the best things about Posh Bingo is its welcome bonus, which is open to all new players who deposit a minimum of £10.

The bonus offers a 250% match, with a cap of £250. At 2x, the wagering requirement is also very low, although this is a bingo site and not a slot site, so that’s not entirely uncommon.

It means that if you deposit just £10 at Posh Bingo, you will be given an additional £25, for a total of £35. These credits can then be used to play a number of different bingo games, including ones that have big jackpots.

Your deposit balance can be withdrawn at any time if you decide that the bonus is not for you.

Software and Games

Posh Bingo is not the best-looking bingo site. It feels very dated and needs a lot of work. It’s not even dynamic. I’m currently looking at the site in a dual window on a laptop and I need to constantly scroll, zoom, and swipe just to see the full page. It reminds me of using early iPads or iPhones to browse the internet before the days of mobile-optimised websites.

There are also a few confusing features on the site. Firstly, it’s very busy, with a lot of text and images. Some of the images are actually well designed, but it’s too cluttered.

Secondly, the site has an old-school Facebook share link, even though the Facebook page has been updated 4 times in the last 6 years. And just to be pedantic, the cookie policy link uses American English spellings.

Although these issues are minor, they shouldn’t really exist on a site that’s asking you for your money and trust, a site based on the best security and the highest level of fairness.

On the game side of things, Posh Bingo has a good selection of bingo titles. These always seem to have players and there are usually prizes of hundreds and even thousands available on any given day.

If you’re looking for a huge site with dozens of bingo games and hundreds of slots, this isn’t it. But if it’s just a simple bingo site you seek, and you don’t really care about slots and other games, it fits the bill.

Customer Support

I sent Posh Bingo a test email before I joined up. I asked them a simple question about deposit options and I got a response within 5 hours. Considering that many of the sites I emailed didn’t respond to me at all, that’s quite impressive, but there is an issue here.

The response merely told me that my email address wasn’t found and so they couldn’t help me. In other words, you need to be a member to get a response.

I hate it when sites do this, as it rules out all those players who have genuine questions that need to be answered before they join.

It’s especially important on a site like Posh Bingo, which doesn’t have a lot of information available before you sign up.

Still, the response time was fast and that’s definitely a positive.

Deposits and Withdrawals

Posh Bingo accepts payments by PayPal, wire transfer, Apple Pay, Visa, and Mastercard. The minimum deposit is just £10. Withdrawals are much slower than they should be here, as it can take between 4 and 5 days to process payments through PayPal and longer with other methods.

Posh Bingo also accepts payments by phone just in case you live in 2002.

Verdict: Posh Bingo Review

If Grand Battery Holdings sounds familiar, it’s probably because it’s the same brand behind Wink Bingo and Wink Slots, two excellent online gambling sites. Unfortunately, Posh Bingo is nowhere near the same quality.

Some of the features are the same, but many are not.

At the footer of the Posh Bingo website, you’ll see a series of links for the terms, privacy policy, and other essential info. There is also a link that points to Wink Bingo.

Wink Bingo uses a similar link tree, only instead of linking back to Posh Bingo, it links to Wink Slots and itself. It’s almost like the owners couldn’t bring themselves to link to Posh Bingo.

It’s not a bad site. There is a lot to like about it and some of those poorly designed features fade away as you get deep into the site. But if I had to choose between Posh Bingo and one of the Wink-themed sites, I would always pick the latter. In fact, I’d pick dozens of sites over this one.

Is Posh Bingo Licensed?

Yes, Posh Bingo operates under license from the UK Gambling Commission. It’s one of the strictest regulators in the industry and it’s also the only one that applies to players in the United Kingdom.

Does Posh Bingo Have a Responsible Gambling Program?

Yes, there are deposit limits, a self-exclusion, and other commonly seen features. The site also does a good job of advertising these tools and resources. Furthermore, it is a member of GamCare, which is an industry-wide exclusion program.

Can I Use PayPal at Posh Bingo?

PayPal is one of several gambling methods available at Posh Bingo. You can use it for both deposits and withdrawals and there are no fees associated with either of them.

Can I Complain to Posh Bingo?

Yes, Posh Bingo has a complaints procedure if you have a grievance that can’t be resolved through typical processes. Look for the “Making a Complaint” link in the website’s footer for more information. The process basically just involves emailing the support team and then escalating the issue through eCOGRA or the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution Platform if you don’t believe that the response is fair.
