Mirror Bingo

Mirror Bingo Review

A casino named after a mirror? Nah, that would be weird. This casino is named after a newspaper, which is totally normal.

Mirror Bingo launched in 2008, making it one of the longest-running and most established newspaper-bingo sites (yes, there are others). It’s part of the Jumpman Gaming network, which is licensed to provide online bingo and casino gaming solutions in the United Kingdom.

It’s not actually run by the newspaper. They have left everything to Jumpman Gaming, a brand that has plenty of experience when it comes to running gambling sites.

Welcome Bonuses

The Mirror Bingo welcome offer is a traditional Jumpman Gaming Mega Wheel. Deposit £10 or more to spin the wheel and you could win up to 500 free spins on 9 Pots of Gold. Other free spin prizes also await, and you could even walk away with a £10 Amazon voucher.

Here are a few terms to keep in mind for this bonus:

• There is a minimum deposit of £10
• You must clear a 10x wagering requirement
• Total bonus conversion is equal to your deposit amount

It’s a good bonus. It always is on Jumpman Gaming sites. But the above terms stop it from being the best bonus.

You can also find many loyalty promotions here, as well as a loyalty program that’s based on trophies. You don’t need to be bigger spender to benefit from this program. You’re also incentivised to complete specific steps and not just to bet big.

Bingo Games and Slots

I love complaining and I will happily nit-pick even the best casinos. However, it’s hard to find fault with the Mirror Bingo selection. The same can be said for all Jumpman Gaming sites, as they all use the same software. Sure, it could be bigger and the layout isn’t the smoothest (I can find fault after all), but it’s well put together.

What I like the most about this software is that it combines many elements and ticks most boxes. You have top slots from the likes of NetEnt, Blueprint, Microgaming, and Quickspin, a great live casino from Pragmatic Play Live, top table games, and a selection of bingo rooms.

The bingo rooms connect throughout the Jumpman network, one that spans over 200 sites, so you don’t need to worry about sparsely occupied games and small prizes.

The icing on the cake is that it’s mobile-friendly and dynamic, so it adapts to your browser.

Customer Support

Before I conduct a batch of reviews, I send an email to customer support teams. The email is usually sent between 2 and 4 weeks before the review is written, so the sites have plenty of time to respond. The questions are also basic, and I assume the role of an aspiring player who just needs a little reassurance.

Most sites respond within hours. Some take a day or two. And then you have Jumpman Gaming casinos, which very rarely respond. Such is the case with Mirror Bingo. I sent one of those emails 3 weeks ago, and I am still waiting for a response.

I know for a fact that they are a little more responsive when you actually sign up, but still, they shouldn’t be ignoring potential players when they have genuine queries.

Imagine walking into a casino and asking someone a basic question about the payment methods they accept, only for them to tell you that you need to join their membership club and buy £20+ worth of chips before they respond.

You’d be furious. You’d probably walk out. I certainly would. But that’s exactly what’s happening across the online gambling industry and we need to start calling out the sites that do this.

Deposits and Withdrawals

Pay By Mobile is accepted at Mirror Bingo, but I wouldn’t recommend it. The limited deposit amounts and lack of withdrawals is bad enough, but then you have a £2.50 deposit fee. On top of that, Mirror Bingo charges £2.50 for all  withdrawals, so when you eventually cash out (via a different method), you’ll be hit with another fee.

PayPal is the cheaper, faster, and generally better option and Mirror Bingo also accepts debit cards. Withdrawal fees apply to all methods though and you can expect to wait up to 3 days for your payment to be processed.

If you like rapid transfers as offered by sites like bet365 and PokerStars, prepare to be disappointed.

Verdict: Mirror Bingo Review

Mirror Bingo has been around for a while, but it has always existed as a middle-of-the-road casino. It’s not spectacular, but I wouldn’t say it was terrible, either.

It benefits from having a wealth of loyalty promotions and a generous trophy-based VIP scheme, but it also struggles with the same banking issues and customer support failings that you’ll find on other Jumpman Gaming casinos.

It’s still worth joining if you like combination bingo and slot sites, but if I had to list my top 20 casinos, this one wouldn’t get a mention.
