Betfair is a giant in the online gambling industry, and it’s a brand I have a long history with.
In my Betfair Sportsbook review, I spoke about my positive and negative experiences with the sportsbook and exchange, and I have also discussed the casino side of things before.
Now it’s the turn of Betfair Bingo.
Joining Betfair Bingo for the first time? If so, consider grabbing a piece of the site’s welcome bonus. Simply deposit and wager £5 on bingo games and £5 on Slingo games and you’ll get 200 free bingo tickets and a free £20 bonus.
You must be over 18 to qualify, as always, and there is a 1x wagering requirement on both bonuses. Only when you have met this basic term will the funds unlock for withdrawal.
The free tickets have a value dependent on the type of games that you play, with a maximum cap of 10p. As for the Slingo bonus, it applies to all of the following games:
- Slingo Rainbow Riches
- Slingo Reel King
- Slingo Fluffy Favourites
- Slingo Extreme
- Slingo Lightning
- Slingo Centurion
It sounds like a pretty generous bonus, and it is, but there is one frustrating issue that may rule out a large number of UK players. That term is the one that excludes all web wallet deposits from unlocking the bonus. It means that you can collect it if you use Visa and MasterCard debit, but not if you use PayPal, Apple Pay, and other non-debit card options.
You will also need to verify your phone number before collecting the Slingo part of the bonus.
Every single day, Betfair Bingo players are given a free scratch card. They get one free shot and if they reveal 3 matching symbols, they win, simple as that. But that’s not the only bonus that you can collect when your welcome bonus has finished.
You can also play free bingo games. You won’t risk anything playing these games, but you will have a chance to win real prizes. What’s more, all of the prizes are paid as cash, so you won’t be fobbed off with free spins that have ridiculously high wagering requirements.
Other bonuses and promotions available on Betfair Bingo include guaranteed bingo rooms, weekly quiz nights, double-prize nights, and more.
Bingo Games and Slots
I love the selection of bingo rooms on Betfair Bingo. There are many basic bingo rooms and huge jackpot rooms, but you’ll also find a selection of themed games, including the brilliant Deal or No Deal Multiplayer.
If you tire of the bingo games, which is unlikely, you can take a shot at Megaways slots, jackpot slots, Slingo games, virtual scratch cards, and more. It’s not just bingo here and you don’t need to venture to other parts of the Betfair brand to play for slot jackpots or try the latest games.
In the early days of Betfair, back when it was basically just the exchange and exchange games, you had to wager at least £2. That might not sound like much, but I’m talking about nearly 15 years ago and that limit applied to simple hands of cards. The exchange was also too complicated for inexperienced sports bettors and so many left it alone.
These days, it caters to a wide variety of players, covering all preferences and stakes. Betfair Bingo is a prime example of that. You can play for free or for just 1p per ticket. You only need 1 ticket to play most games, and there are events and tournaments to extend your money even further.
If you’d prefer to risk more and win more, there are games with tickets costing over £1, as well as lots of huge jackpots.
Deposits and Withdrawals
You can use PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, and a handful of optional payment methods at Betfair Bingo. It’s the same selection that you’ll find on other Betfair sites, and it comes with the same choice, limits, and speed. There are no complaints from me with regard to any of these things, though it’s definitely an issue that you can’t collect the welcome bonus if you use web wallets like PayPal.
Verdict: Betfair Bingo Review
I can’t really find any negatives to complain about here, and believe me, I tried. The games are great and while the layout is starting to look a touch dated, I actually like it. Every time I revisit the Betfair site, I expect to encounter a layout change that is so jarring it reminds me of when Microsoft switched to Windows 10, made everything look like a mobile layout, and I promptly gave up and became a full-fledged Apple fanboy.
But that hasn’t happened…yet.
The only negative I can find concerns the customer support. I won’t go into detail here, but I have had many issues with Betfair support in the past. If I had an issue, I would sooner just put up with it and avoid the frustration of trying to resolve it with customer support.
But that’s justme. I’m biased.
Overall, though,Betfair Bingo is a fantastic site and it’s worth a look.
Betfair Bingo is just one part of the all-encompassing Betfair brand. The brand itself is part of Flutter Entertainment, which was formed when Betfair merged with Paddy Power, and it also owns many other major brands (including Pokerstars).
As with the other sites that fall under the Betfair umbrella, Betfair Bingo can be accessed by clicking a tab atthe top of the main Betfair site and if you have an account for poker, sports betting, or casino games, you can access Betfair Bingo.
Yes, there is a selection of Slingo games. You can also find a huge variety of other top bingo games and slot machines on Betfair Bingo.
Of course! It’s attached to one of the biggest brands in the industry.
