Luckster is an online sportsbook and casino run by AG Communications Limited. It holds licenses in the United Kingdom and Malta and provides a wide selection of games and betting options.

In this Luckster review, I’ll take a look at the sports betting side of the site, addressing the betting options, welcome bonuses, loyalty promotions, and more.

Welcome Bonuses

As a new player at Luckster, you are entitled to a £10 bonus when you deposit and wager £10. The £10 wager must be placed on bets of Evens (2.00) or greater, otherwise, the free bet won’t trigger.

There are also limitations on certain payment methods. If you deposit using a web wallet, including PayPal, Neteller, and Skrill, you won’t be given the bonus. You also won’t qualify if you place a system bet, such as a Trixie or Yankee.

Finally, it must be placed on a single bet and that bet must be your first. It’s worth mentioning this as I have fallen foul of this rule many times in the past.

I deposit £50 or so, place a few £5 wagers, and then wager the rest of the money on a single bet. But in doing so, the site registers my first bet as being £5, and so I miss out on the bonus.

You have 14 days to use your free bet once it lands in your account. There are no wagering requirements, but as it’s a free bet and not cash, it needs to be wagered at least once. That wager must take place on odds of at least 4/5 (1.80).

Software Issues

I had a frustrating time the first time I used Luckster.

As I write this, I am waiting for the sportsbook to load. I have tried clicking other links, and some of them load, but many do not. I also had the same issue when I accessed the site last night, only for me to give up and make it today’s problem.

After waiting for it to load, I encountered another issue.

I write these reviews in a dual window—MS Word on one side and the casino on the other. Usually, it isn’t a problem. Casinos are dynamic, and so they adapt to your window size. But it was an issue with Luckster.

Instead of seeing the sportsbook, I saw a picture of a hand holding a mobile phone. In other words, it was telling me to orientate my device and refusing to show me anything useful until I did.

And I mean that literally, as it won’t let me check odds, place bets, or do anything else of merit in this format.

I don’t want to criticise the operators too much for this, as it’s probably an issue that only a small percentage of players will face. But this is 2022. I shouldn’t need to drastically change my habits/format just to stop a casino from glitching and failing.

Betting Options

Once you actually gain access to the Luckster betting page, you’ll find a packed yet neatly ordered sportsbook. It reminds me of bet365 and Betfair in that it’s not afraid to put everything on the same page, but still manages to look great. It’s also very easy to use.

There are lots of sports to bet on, including esports like Call of Duty, League of Legends, Rocket League, and Rainbow Six. These days, it’s not uncommon to see major esports like FIFA, DOTA 2, and League of Legends, but this is one of the first times I’ve seen so many first-person shooter games, and that’s a welcome sight.

It also has a great selection of snooker betting options, a personal favourite of mine. You can bet on major tournaments, as well as smaller events like the Championship League.

As for the actual bets, there are lots of accumulator options, as well as special bets and handicap bets. It lacks the selection of livestreams you can find on bet365. In-game multiples, AKA bet builders, are also limited.

You can still use bet builders, but they are only available on a handful of sports.

Still, the software is easy to use and offers plenty of action.

Deposits and Withdrawals

Luckster accepts many different payment methods. Availability depends on your location, but in the UK you can use Mastercard, Visa, and PayPal, among others.

The minimum deposit and withdrawal is a low £10 and payments are usually processed in a couple of days. They’re not instant, but you shouldn’t need to wait too long.

Verdict: Luckster Sport Review

Luckster is a good site that could have been great if not for some minor niggles. The software problems might not sound like much of an issue but try saying that when it’s 2 minutes before kick-off and you’re desperate to wager on a pre-game market.

What’s more, just like the withdrawal fee on sites like Aztec Wins, it’s an issue that shouldn’t exist in this day and age.

Still, I would recommend it if you like busy sites with lots of betting options.

FAQs

What is the Withdrawal Time?

It depends on your chosen payment method. Most withdrawals are processed in a few days.

How Do I Contact Luckster?

There are only two ways to get an answer to your query. One is the FAQ. It’s extensive, and I actually found many helpful answers here. The other is a contact form. Neither is ideal if you’re looking for an immediate response.

How Long Does Verification Take?

Most of the time, your details will be verified within a few minutes. If there are issues with your documents that need another look, you may be asked to wait for a few days. Luckster is usually good in this area though.

Can I Play Casino Games?

Yes. You can access the Luckster casino using your sportsbook account. However, most of the bonuses offered on the sportsbook can’t be used on the casino, and vice versa.
