The kwiff TV ad campaign is one of the most memorable sports betting campaigns in recent years. It also fell victim to an issue that a lot of good ads have because while I knew that “getting kwiffed” was some kind of amazing feature (apparently like catching a glass before it hits the ground or discovering your new-born baby is actually a fully-grown superhuman) I didn’t know what it actually was.

I wouldn’t find that out until several years later.

Was I impressed? Maybe. Was it enough to hold my interests beyond my obligations as a reviewer?

Welcome Bonuses and Loyalty Promotions

kwiff has a promotion that offers a free £20 for all new players. 

To qualify, you must be a new player making a first deposit. The deposit must be at least £10 and needs to be wagered on odds of at least 1.50 (1/2). The qualifying amount only applies to your first bet, so that £10 needs to go on a single wager if you want to claim the bonus.

Once the bet settles, you’ll get a £20 free bet. kwiff advertises this as a “£20 Surprise Bet”, but it’s not much of a surprise considering you will have read the terms and checked the qualifying requirements by that point.

That’s like a family member making a “surprise” visit after scheduling with you 3 weeks in advance and then checking on you every day.

Still, free is free, whether it’s a surprise or not.

The “Surprise Bet” amount comes as a free bet token. It cannot be withdrawn, but the winnings can.

You will also find a kwiff Sports Club, which is a loyalty scheme open to both new and existing players. There are regular cash rewards and it serves as an extension of the welcome bonus, keeping you interested and ensuring you’re incentivised to keep those deposits and wagers flowing.

Software and Betting Options

The kwiff website features a bold purple, black, and white design. It looks great, and the app looks even better. In fact, the marketing largely revolved around the app in the early days and it remains one of the best features of this brand.

Needless to say, the key feature here is the “kwiff” itself, which is a type of supercharge feature similar to the “Spin-a-Bet” feature seen on PokerStars or the Bet Boosts offered by other sportsbooks.

The difference is that your bet can be “kwiffed” on any bet, and this could greatly increase the odds.

It’s essentially a free jackpot feature thrown in. 

As far as sports and betting options go, kwiff has plenty of both. Its football selection is huge and there are options for live betting and cash outs. It also has a good range of racing bets, including F1, horse racing, and greyhound racing.

The betting markets are neatly arranged and it’s very easy to find what you’re looking for and add your preferred bets to the bet slip.

What is the kwiff Feature?

A kwiff is a supercharge feature that could boost the value of your bet at random. It’s not something that you can trigger yourself.

Can I Predict When I Will be kwiffed?

No, there is no sign that it will happen, and no way of predicting it. You also can’t choose which bet will be kwiffed.

How Do I Know If I Have Been kwiffed?

A graphic will appear on the screen telling you that your bet has been supercharged. Trust me, it’s not something that will happen without your knowledge.

Customer Support

There is a large FAQ on kwiff and this can tell you most of what you need to know. Many FAQs are limited, but this is definitely one of the better ones.

If you don’t find what you’re looking for in the FAQ, you can email the customer support team or contact them via live chat, the latter of which is available through the kwiff app. 

I haven’t had too many run-ins with the support team, but I did test them prior to this review. I contacted them through email and on the app. With the former, I got a response within a few hours and they were very helpful. With the latter, it took them a couple of minutes to connect but they were quick and helpful from that point.

Deposits and Withdrawals

You must deposit at least £10 on kwiff, and there are several ways that you can do this, including ecoPayz, Visa, MasterCard, and PayPal. As with all legitimate online sportsbooks, your account needs to be verified before you can place a bet, but this process should happen automatically.

If not, and more information is required, you’ll be asked to submit verification documents, including a photo ID and utility bill. The verification process is fairly quick and completely painless, so don’t worry if you’re forced to go through it.

Verdict: kwiff Review

The kwiff app was built on a gimmick and an excellent marketing campaign, but it has become so much more than that over the years. It has established itself as a leading player in the sports betting market and offers a decent welcome bonus, a good selection of banking options, rapid withdrawals, and a huge variety of sports betting markets.

Even if you take the kwiff feature out of the equation, there’s a lot to like here.
